The adage 'Simple living & high thinking' really fits me. I firmly believe that Honesty is the best policy.
I enjoy travelling, reading, watching Television and playing Cricket. Lately, I have cultivated a habit of meditating in order to keep myself calm.
I maintain that the Internet is the world's greatest innovation, as it has made the concept of 'Global Village' come true. Global Warming and Terrorism are my biggest concerns. I profoundly trust Hindu religion and simultaneously respect world religions too.
I have a sweet tooth and I speak very softly.

Apart from computer & computer related work, my hobbies include listening to music and watching sports. I like listening to songs sung by the legend, Kishore Kumar. I also like to watch TV, specially the sports channels. I love to watch cricket and tennis. My favorite sports persons are Sachin Tendulkar and Steffie Graf.
I really like to travel especially in the hilly areas. I also like trekking on difficult mountains. In future, if possible, I would love to go to 'Manas Sarobar' which is one of the favorite places for any trekker.
I believe that one should work to his best capability and not wait for the outcome. I never think about my success or failure, as I know that if one works hard, success never stays away.
I believe everything is possible in this world. If we look at the word 'Impossible', it sounds so negative. However, I have always read this as 'I m Possible'. It is just the way, how each individual percieves any given situation, that matters.

I am interested in outdoor games like Football and Cricket. At times, I laze around with some story books.

Emotional at heart, at times I behave a little crazy. My friends have concluded that there is an insect living in my brain, which when starts moving, makes me behave in such a manner. However, they call me "Monster" as they feel that my design quality matches that of Template Monster. By and large, I am a homely person and love to sleep through my non-working days.
In my view, Rabindranath Tagore is the best lyricist in the world. I consider Satyajit Ray as my Guru and myself to be his disciple. My favored artists are Jamini Roy, Abanindranath Tagore, Nandlal Bose and Pablo Picasso.

I wish to have a room full of Potato Chips and Coffee. I am just so fond of these! During a Cricket match, I eagerly wait for a fall of wicket as that gives me time for channel-surfing as well as chips & coffee.
I never feel bored in surfing Television channels. I like not to sleep at night but enjoy the first morning light with dreamy eyes. I am fond of comedy films, animation movies, new movie songs and am affectionate towards pretty women.
I completely dislike horror films. I hate interrupting others and being interrupted in a conversation. I find it insufferable to wake up early morning. Lastly, I detest ignorance.
If I ever came to know that there was only a day remaining in my life, I would lock myself in the bathroom and start Live Concert up till the end of my life......!

"It is nice to be important but it is more important to be nice" - that's how I look upon life. Life to me means friends and family whom I can trust and who trust me as well.
By nature, I am a very quiet person and like to keep everything within myself. I love making friends and have lots of friends, from my school days to professional days. Each friend is special to me for one reason or the other and I usually hang out with some or the other friend. I like reading books & watching English movies. Travelling is another passion, but due to time constraints, it happens only once in a while. On holidays I just want to relax by all possible means so that I am rejuvenated for the next working day.
My fantasy in life is to see the year 3000, sitting here in the present. I wish to see what we humans have evolved into at that point in time. Would we still be living on this planet or elsewhere? Another pipe dream is to travel to every corner of this earth. I know it is a dream, but why stop dreaming? I do not know what is in store for me; one day I might get a chance to fulfill all my dreams. However, I am pretty happy regarding the way life has shaped up for me.
